Never lose your place.

Your yarn is your theme.

The kettle boils. Someone calls. You come back to exactly where you left off. A calmer place for your patterns, your yarn and all the things you can’t wait to make.

Row 24 of 60: Purl across. Next row decreases.

Switch project. Each one wears its own yarn colour.

Try it: tap Row done, or press Space.

Free forever for making.

Your skein becomes the theme.

Built around the moments that actually go wrong.

  • “I lost my place”

    Knit mode

Your current row is highlighted, repeats count themselves and stitch counts update. One tap, and you’re back where you were.

    At launch
  • “What does this mean?”

    Abbreviations you can tap

Tap k2tog or sc2tog to see it in plain words. Later, Coach will explain a whole row.

    At launch
  • “Will my yarn work?”

A stash that does the maths

Know how much yarn your size needs, what’s already in your stash, and whether there’s enough for one more sleeve.

    At launch
  • “There's a hole!”

    Rescue a mistake

Snap a photo and Coach suggests what went wrong and how to fix it, and says how sure it is.

Count without putting your needles down.

Stay in the rhythm of your making. We’re planning simple ways to count with a wrist tap, a clicker or your voice.

Watch
A quick wrist tap to mark a row, with a gentle nudge when a repeat is done.
Clicker
A Bluetooth page-turner works as a big row button. Try Space or the arrow keys on this page.
Voice
“Next row”, “undo”, “where am I?” A little help when both hands are busy.

AI that's honest about what it sees.

A dropped stitch shouldn’t mean giving up. We’re exploring gentle help to understand a stitch or untangle a mistake, with a clear “I’m not sure” when a photo isn’t enough.

  • It suggests. You decide, and confirm every change.
  • Your patterns stay yours. A photo isn’t permission to copy someone’s design.
  • It's clearly labelled and shows how sure it is.

Questions

When does the app come out?
We're building it now and will invite Founding Makers first. Join the waitlist and we'll email you when it's ready for you.
Can I try it before it launches?
Yes. Try the row counter above, switch projects, or use a yarn photo to change the colours. These are working previews; the full making companion is still being built.
Is it really free?
Yes. The making features are free for good. An optional Plus plan for AI help will come later.
Does it work offline?
Offline making is part of our plan. In this preview, your row is saved in this browser so you can come back to it. Keep using the same browser and device to find it again.
Which languages?
English and Hindi at launch, with more planned.
What happens to my photos and patterns?
Your yarn photo stays in this browser and isn’t uploaded. The preview saves your row, colours and comfort settings here. For launch updates we collect only the details you choose to send; read our privacy notice for more.
Will it work with Ravelry?
We'd love you to be able to bring your Ravelry library. We're checking what Ravelry allows before we promise anything.
