Use a keyboard
Tab through links and buttons. Tab to the counter (or tap it) and Space or the right arrow advances a row; the left arrow undoes it. A Bluetooth page-turner works the same way once the counter is selected. Everywhere else, your keys keep their usual jobs.
Less motion
